This blog is dedicated to critically evaluating the Daily Illini, the student newpaper at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Chamapaign. The Daily Illini has exhibited a reccuring pattern of racialization, inaccurate reporting and exclusion of diverse viewpoints. We feel that there is a need for open and consistent evaluation of the paper in order to highlight the trends in reporting that detract from the overall quality of the paper.
